Place an ad with soniXshop for FREE!!! Nada, zilch, zip, zero!

Why free? soniXshop is a free online resource for audio/video enthusiasts and professionals officially launched on March 1, 2006. At this time, we feel that soniXshop does not yet have the user base or demographic information to justify paid ads. Our hope is that by Sept. 1, 2006 we can begin charging for ads in order to help sustain and improve this resource.

For now, we can reasonably estimate that our user base is predominately male, 20 - 35 years of age. soniXshop currently receives about 1,000 unique visitors every month.

• What products or services can I advertise on soniXshop?
  soniXshop will accept ads for the following products or services:
  1. Audio/Video equipment and parts manufacturers or retailers.
  2. Audio/Video installation or equipment repair services.
  3. Electronic media (CD's, DVD's) excluding pornographic content.
  4. Other audio/video resource websites.
  5. Audio/Video publications such as books, magazines or websites.
  6. Audio/Video software.
  All ads must be approved before they appear on the soniXshop site. If your ad does not represent one of the products or services listed above, please contact ads@soniXshop.com to see if an exception can be made.
• Which ad configurations does soniXshop support?
  
  1. Banner Graphic Ads: 730 x 90 banner, 468 x 60 banner, 750 x 25 mini banner
  2. 'Skyscraper' Graphic Ads: 160 x 700 skyscraper, 128 x 750 skyscraper
  3. Box Graphic Ads: 120 x 90 box, 150 x 60 box, 125 x 125 box
  4. Button Graphic Ads: 150 x 30 button with 3 lines of text
  5. Text Only Ads: Text ads will appear in the left column, right column or at the bottom of the page. Text ads may include up to 5 lines of text and a one line, bold title.

• What are the ad rates?
  All ads on soniXshop are free until at least Sept 1, 2006. We will then decide whether or not to begin charging for ads and what the rates will be. You will be notified by email once ad rates are in effect.
• How long will my ad run?
  All free ads will run for 1,000 impressions.
• Where will my ad appear on the page?
  When submitting your ad, you will be able to select a preferred location for your ad: under the site masthead and the soniXshop logo, the right-hand column of the page, under the main menu on the left or at the bottom of the page.
  
  We will notify you if your ad needs to appear in a place different from your preferred location.
• How will I know if anyone is seeing my ads?
  When placing an ad, you will be assigned a sonixshop ad account area on the website which will show you the number of impressions and clickthrough rate for your ad per day and per month. You can access your account with a password at any time.
• Can you design my ad graphics?
  Certainly! Please contact us at ads@soniXshop.com for an estimate to create your ad artwork.
