What is soniXshop?

Put simply, soniXshop is the response to a need. If you've ever done research on the internet, you are well aware of the need I am talking about. There is no shortage a fantastic, free resources on the web for the audio enthusiast - the trouble is, they're all over the place. And you can never be sure that the next link you click will yield anything of value on your quest for goodies. So, soniXshop was born as a searchable archive of audio/video resources with one little twist - you own it.

The soniXshop concept is simple: allow the website user community to get involved and the cream will float to the top. You determine what goes on the site and what stays on the site. Ideally, this ensures that only the best articles, projects, software downloads, photos, product reviews and schematics are available on sonixshop.

That's only the beginning. If you join the soniXshop community, you have free access to…

  • Project & Resource Posting
Post your own projects, schematics, product reviews and links or post something interesting you found on the web (jut give credit where it's due). You can also upload photos, documents, zip files or software and attach them to your contributions.

  • Your own virtual team of experts with MyTeam
MyTeam allows you to form virtual groups with other soniXshop community members and communicate with them using a private forum.

  • Saved Resources
Never go searching for a great resource twice. Add them to your Saved Resources area and always have the stuff you want close at hand.

  • Project design features (coming in March)
The soniXshop Project Area features electronics and speaker design calculators, part lists, vendor lists and a project resource area for uploading photos and documents for your project. Keep all your project notes, parts and ideas in one web-accessible location.

  • Community forum (coming in March)
Ask a question, take a poll, give a rant, debate the merits of MOSFET vs. tube amps - soniXshare brings the whole community together in one place.

Let's get started. Join the Community. »
